Feeder Hanging Tips
Hummingbird feeders should be hung out of direct sunlight, away from windy areas, and out of reach of cats. You may also want to place the feeder in and around flowers. This will help attract more hummingbirds to your feeder.

Ideally, a sheltered location with south-eastern exposure is best for hanging bird feeders because birds like to feed in the sun and out of the wind. Birds also prefer not to have any obstructions over their feeding area so they can see any predators.

Feeder Care
Keeping your feeder clean and full of fresh nectar is very important to the health of visiting hummingbirds. It is recommended that you clean your hummingbird feeder every week. A mild soap and water solution can be used for cleaning. However, if additional cleaning is needed, you can use diluted vinegar. It is not recommended that you put any bird feeders into your dishwasher for cleaning.
