Having purchased this birdbath in June, I have
NOT yet used the heated function, however, it
is certainly easy to install, attractive, the
cord attaches easily and unobtrusively. Although I have two other birdbaths and a pond
in my yard, the birds found it very quickly.
Squirrels are drinking from it too! Since I
feed and encourage them, that is a plus to me.
I am very satisfied, and assuming it can do the
job of maintaining a liquid state for water in
the winter as advertised, I will be thrilled.

This bird bath arrived very quickly. It is easy and quick to install. The water remained liquid when the thermometer was mostly below freezing for weeks. It is big enough to accomodate multiple birds. I like the way it rises in the center, and I chose to put a decorative rock there. It has an extremely sturdy feel to it. Yet, it unscrews and then tips easily. The surface seems to resist dirt buildup and is readily cleaned. When I work at home on my computer, I face my heated bird bath in order to catch the action. Wasn't my mother nice to give this to me?

I just slapped it right on my deck near the feeder with a tree shelter. It only took the birds a day or two to find it.
