The Smart Solar Brushed Copper Cascade Water Fountain and Bird Bath features five tiers of brushed copper bowls that will add an appealing visual element to any outdoor setting. Crafted from natural copper, this bird bath will age gracefully, acquiring an appealing verdigris patina over time, as it does not have a protective finish. If you prefer to prevent natural copper oxidation, certain chemical applications will keep the copper looking lustrous and new.
Water gracefully cascades from basin to basin, creating a pleasant sound during its descent. Since this fountain uses solar energy, you can be at peace with an environmentally friendly design that has no running costs. Setup is as simple as placing the solar panel in direct sunlight and adding water. The low-voltage pump sends water to the top urn where it trickles back to the basin to be recycled, resulting in an amiable environment perfect for any garden, patio, or balcony.
Maximize effectiveness by placing the panel in full sunlight, avoiding shade. Angle the solar panel each season to absorb maximum sunlight. The panel can be wall-mounted, stand-mounted, or stand-alone with the included hardware for a variety of placement options. A 15-foot cord attaches to the solar panel, making it easy to position almost anywhere. The bottom bowl measures approximately 13 inches in diameter and 5.5 inches tall. The legs of the fountain are only two inches tall so the bottom bowl rests very close to the ground. This product carries a two-year warranty.

It is recommeneded to use distilled or rain water to prevent scale build up. If, after a period of time, the pump start to lose pwer or stops working check for builddup of sediment, scale or dirrt in the filter housing and in the bottom of the pump housing. Open the filter housing and clean the filter. Remove the pump cover and clean the filter. Remove the pump cover at it's base, take out the impeller and remove any sediment, scale or dirt that has built up. Re-fit the impeller, pump cover and filter housing.
The solar panel should be cleaned periodically with a soft tissue and proprietary glass cleaning solution. Regular cleaning of the panel is advised to maintain optimum coversion of the sun's energy into direct current.
