Cool, mossy, hand carved stone with lacy, graceful woodland fern fronds and fiddle heads are the theme of the Fern Garden Bird Bath. This bird bath will enhance a woodland garden or shady fern dell. This natural stoneware product is handcrafted and decorated; therefore, each bath will have a unique color and texture that will not be replicated. Also, the bird bath will naturally weather to further enhance the one-of-a-kind look of your garden.
This bird bath has a bowl depth of 2 inches, and the ideal bathing depth for birds is 1.5 to 2 inches. The base of the pedestal is roughly 10 inches in diameter, providing weight and stability.

        We searched for the perfect bird bath for a while. This one has a neat vintage look, it's sturdy and durable, it's not too heavy but will not blow away in the wind, 2 pieces is nice so it's not to akward to set up and carry . . . love this product!

          I think this birdbath is so attractive, that this is the second time I've purchased it. I bought it from a local nursery, but neglected to bring it inside before the first freeze. The ceramic basin cracked in half! I will not make that mistake again; it feels sturdy but clearly needs TLC. I was happy to find it at Birdbaths.com, but I would have liked to purchase the new basin only, since my base was fine; they come in separate boxes and have different product numbers from the manufacturer but Birdbaths.com sells it only as a set. Still love it!

          This is the second time the top to my Fern Garden birdbath has cracked when a squirrel knocked it off the base. It is a very wobbly fit even when caulked. Since it fell on soft garden mulch and is destroyed again, it does not seem very sturdy.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            This birdbath looks so cute in my front yard. I put it just off the front deck, so my cats can see the show through the porch doors, while we're at work. The design of painted ferns blends nicely with out landscape.
