Comments about Backyard Nature Products Granite Recirculating Dripper:

There are some complaints with this product, here is how I figured-out how to make it work perfectly: First, plug it into a weather-proof timer so it doesn't run all night. Second, each day, unplug it, set it aside, clean-out the birdbath. Third, refill the birdbath with clean water and set the dripper back inside. Fourth, set the adjustment knob so the arrow is inline with the plastic tube (all the way open). Step five, put your hose nozzel up to the end of the copper tube and spray water into it to backflush it. This removes debris from the plumbing and re-primes the little pump. Step six, plug the dripper back in, it will start working immediately. Finally, turn the adjustment knob until the stream of water slows to a drip. Works every time! But, don't reverse steps three and five, you must backflush it while the pump is immersed in the clean water or it won't re-prime the pump.

Comments about Backyard Nature Products Granite Recirculating Dripper:

It is a great concept, as there are not many others like this out there. I like that you don't have to hook up a hose to it. When it is working properly the birds love it and will visit it all day. The drawback is that it seems to easily get clogged and stops dripping and then resetting it seems to be difficult.
