      At 4" in diameter, it is a little large for small (16") birdbaths, but would fit perfectly in a 20" or larger birdbath. Very pleased with solar wiggler - moves water perfectly.

        I put this in our backyard birdbath and the birds are flocking in to drink, bathe and dunk their food. It is very nicely sized, has a good seal to keep any water out of the battery compartment and the solar battery is a wonderful way to use natural resources to supply power. It does work 24/7 to keep the water in motion so I don't have to worry about mosquitoes laying eggs/West Nile Virus. Thank you for the Solar Water Wiggler!

          All-in-all I like the product. I have it in my copper bird bath, which is an area with significant bird traffic. I was concerned it would scare the birds away, but that is not the case. I cannot say it attracts, birds, but it definitely does not spook them.

          The wiggler needs to be in a sunny area or it may not start running until later in the day. It will freeze and starts automatically when the water has thawed. It really doesn't seem to be able to store more than a few hours of energy.

          I am giving it 4 stars, because I think it is over priced. $19.99 and I would purchased more of these and would give them to friends.

            My wife and I purchased a static garden fountain for an area in our garden which was not located near an electrical outlet. But we didn't want the water to just sit in the fountain without motion. So the easy solution? The SOLAR WATER WIGGLER!

            It's just what the proverbial doctor ordered. Come rain or shine or nigh time it just keeps on percolating. The Wiggler installs in just minutes. It is very well made and gives you the impression it will last forever.

            We've only had ours one week but its propeller- like action keeps the water gently and continuously in motion.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
